As the category manager for distribution, I had responsibility for our distributor relationships for all North America plant sites and labs. I also managed our global network and developed the category strategy for distribution across all businesses and regions.

As the segment lead for Heavy Duty and Offroad Vehicles, I had the opportunity to shape the scope and direction of the segment with a five- and ten-year plan, supported with financial modeling, industry research, plant capability, and necessary investment. I was able to work across several functions including marketing communications, legal, sales, finance, and technical service as I developed the strategy for the segment.

I supported $100M+ product lines through automation, control scheme design, project implementation, safety system maintenance, and daily run-and-maintain needs. My role enabled area capacity release initiatives, capital savings, and data analysis capabilities.

Mount Vernon, Indiana

My first term focused primarily on engineering in project management. I also implemented a new annual site-wide maintenance program and tested new products.My second term was focused on design for a new pilot plant unit. I completed safety-critical design work, equipment sizing, and TRI/SARA reporting for our unit.My final term with SABIC was with the reliability team. My major focus this term was the creation of a new database that would improve equipment reliability and repair forecasting for the site.
