I started my career at AutomationSolutions, helping companies all over Utah with automation applications including finding and recommending innovative products and technologies to develop and manufacture a multitude of parts.I very much enjoyed getting to know all of the engineers around this area and learn about all of the interesting projects they are working on. This exposure gave me great experience solving problems and working through tough applications. This is what I enjoy most, finding solutions to problems.At Mity-Lite, I started as a Production Engineer updating and improving processes, machinery and automation on the shop floor. It was very fulfilling to be able to work with production and create opportunities to save money and time in our processes as well as make our products better.I then moved to Research and Development because of my love of design. This is my favorite part of engineering. I now use my manufacturing and automation background to design products that are evolutionary and revolutionary. It is always a challenge to provide the most value for the customer while at the same time keeping the cost down and the manufacturing streamlined.
