I currently work part time as a Parts Interpreter at Porsche Centre Doncaster. I was attracted to this role because of my love for cars, an interest in mechanics and attention to detail. Working part time lets me pursue other interests and allowed me to complete a Bachelor of Archaeology at La Trobe University in 2021.While I always had a keen interest in history, this degree reinforced written history as my specific area of interest rather than excavation itself. I am drawn to the political history of the Greek, Roman and Egyptian empires but I have recently developed a love for the history of early Melbourne and its development over the last 200 years and now I read heritage reports for fun.My early interest in politics led me to complete my Honours Degree in Security & Counter Terrorism at Swinburne University in 2015. I wrote my thesis on the 2003 Invasion of Iraq and argued that the United States did not achieve its goals.I also work as a door person at the Gasometer Hotel in Collingwood and this satisfies my love for live music and allows for a solid social life. I love cartoons, cowboy movies and British comedies. I am fascinated by American interventionism and the American Civil War. I have an interesting collection of pop culture items and figurines and I love to read biographies and history books.
