Canadian Advisory of Women Immigrants (CAWI) is a community organization dedicated to empowering women immigrants through advocacy efforts. CAWI is dedicated to empowering immigrant women by advocating for immigrant women in positions of power, and equal access to resources such as educational opportunities, career opportunities, sexual and reproductive health resources, social networking, mental health resources, and leadership positions.

Primary research-related duties are developing and evaluating statistical models for surveillance of wastewater and serology. Tasks include data cleaning, statistical model development and coding, generation of results, and writing and presenting manuscripts and other research products.Supervised by Dr. David Buckeridge
