As an estimator, I am responsible for scheduling, clarifying and putting together complete estimates from simple to complex projects. I make sure all prices are accounted for, in-house or buyout, on projects ranging from $10,000 to 3,500,000.

Assistant Project Manager/Assistant Estimator my responsibilities were to: Assist the Chief Estimator with the project estimate and schedule, write subcontracts and purchase orders, employee and subcontractor coordination, review and process submittals, write and submit change orders, procure documents for and complete punch list items and project closeout.

When I first went into that role they had just lost their scheduler and I had learned how to schedule in college so they gave me a chance and I became their scheduler. At the same time that I scheduled, I did material and labor takeoffs and put together bids. I procured subcontract bids, wrote subcontracts, wrote and issued purchase orders.
