I am entry level political staffer in Washington D.C. After graduating from the University of Iowa in 2023 with a B.S. in Sport and Recreation Management with a minor in Spanish, I moved back home with the cultural experience and perspectives I learned and saw in the Midwest juxtaposed by my time growing up in the suburbs of D.C. Motivated by seeing the impact of public policy and the need for civic involvement, I got involved in legislative work.I’ve been inspired by the people, progress, and efforts around me to fight for health care, education, and housing reform while learning about other topics such as appropriations, energy, infrastructure, elections, labor, and judiciary. With experiences in the private sector and as a public servant/federal employee, I bring a diverse background and portfolio to any role that is matched by my enthusiasm to help and learn.Some facts about me; in 2018 I earned the rank of Eagle Scout after seven years of experience in the Boy Scouts of America. In 2019 I was given the Archbishop’s Award at my high school for my service/character in my community and to my peers.
