Senior Network Implementation Engineer
CurrentAs a Senior Network Implementation Engineer at Brightspeed, I specialize in the design, development, and deployment of Inside Plant (ISP) infrastructure for a variety of projects, including land developments, new buildings, fiber network expansions (DSL, FTTN, FTTH), and special circuit requests. I lead and manage a wide range of ISP engineering tasks, from preparing detailed engineering work orders to overseeing the entire implementation process. My work includes preparing plans and specifications, conducting field data collection, and ensuring that the most effective and economical methods are utilized to complete projects on time and within budget.Experienced with a diverse set of tools such as NDS, AutoCAD, Fireworks/Bid Master, JDS, FORTE, WFMT, ARMOR, TIRKS, LFACS, and Microsoft Office Suite, all of which are integral in designing and implementing fiber infrastructure. Additionally, I collaborate closely with planning teams, internal stakeholders, and external partners to ensure the successful deployment of network solutions while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.Core Responsibilities:Design and develop ISP implementation plans for fiber and network installations.Prepare and manage project specifications, including field data collection and cost analysis.Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring cost-effective execution.Oversee the construction and testing of network facilities, ensuring alignment with engineering standards.Provide troubleshooting and support for network interoperability across multiple platforms.Manage hardware and software acquisitions, including subcontractor services as necessary.
