26 years as Supervisor of the Project Section of the VA Medical Center in Hampton, VA. Work includes all new construction (lead many Architectural Firms in design development to get construction documents into Fed Biz Ops), renovation, and maintenance of various utilities to keep the facility operational. I have been involved in many projects from $50,000 to $10,000,000 in construction costs. Recently renovated an entire floor for a new Surgical Suite, completed design for an entire floor for Imaging Service, and completed construction on a 28,000 square foot addition to our Ambulatory Care Facility. Currently constructing a new Hemodialysis center and a new Chaplain building. Demolition of buildings has been a challenge due to historical and due to asbestos/lead issues. I completed a project to demolish 7 buildings which involved Section 106 review process through the State Historical Preservation Office in Richmond, Va.
