Anybody else attempt the tried and true method of go to school, go to college, get a safe job, and happily live out the rest of their lives? I sure did! Results: Three years after starting work I moved into a van full time with my now fiancé to travel the states and look for something more than the tried and true.Don't get me wrong, I worked alongside some fantastic people with a wild array of tasks such as: breeding multiple fish species then feed training and conducting growth studies on them, conducting various mortality studies on fish (didn't quite make it to 1 million so not a true biologist), creating and shipping fish food to customers nationwide, restoring then building and operating a small feed mill generating over 2,000lbs an hour, experimenting with feed formulations on an R&D scale, remodeling old office spaces into a museum for investor tours, and aiding whenever possible in the fish lab which housed thousands of fish for research purposes. So yeah, it was fun! But very demanding of time and presence - something that I've come to value very much. I never considered the financial industry, but I did get a front row seat in watching my fiancé, Jessica, grow in both financial literacy and confidence. Her success in this industry inspired me to give it a shot as well and join her full time in business in the hopes that we can win together! Now, I am part of a top 10 team in the US who focus on helping spread financial education to all families in America. We help people retire. Help set up accounts so kids can go to college. Help set up accounts so people can save money. And set up accounts so when someone dies, their family never has to worry about money again. And guess what? We're expanding! I am on the lookout for people who want to help others towards their goals, willing to learn something new, are coachable, and will have lots of fun doing something new!If that's you, I'd love to connect and talk about it!

Talent ScoutWfgia 2023 - PresentNot only have I learned more about money than I did in High School and College, but I have surrounded myself with a team of like-minded people who strive to improve themselves every day AND help as many people as possible along the way. To put it simply: I get to help teach people financial literacy and help guide them towards their goals without putting my own aside due to time constraints.

Lead Extruder OperatorOptimal Fish Food, Llc 2019 - 2021Omaha, Nebraska, United StatesI started at Optimal Fish Food when it was located in South Dakota and began by conducting cold water feed trials in a retrofitted greenhouse along with taking over a large portion of the shipping/receiving of fish foods and samples. After being acquired by Green Plains in Nebraska I was tasked with aiding in the renovation and restoration of an old feed mill while producing small sample batches of fish food for research purposes. During the 18 months in Nebraska, the team and I were able to get the primary feed mill operational (although not complete), build the infrastructure for an investor showroom tour, assemble and start a small assay system for testing feeds on small fish, and ship entire truckloads of finished product to customers nation-wide. -
Grocery StockerWalmart 2017 - 2019Fayetteville, Arkansas, United StatesI started at this job when the building was just finishing completion and actually helped set up the shelves before opening to the public. I quickly moved from being just a daytime grocery stocker to being helpful in all departments including: general merchandise, dairy, meat, produce, bakery, cashier, cart pusher, pickup, and on some occasions, custodial. This kept the job more interesting for a time, but I outgrew the location as I graduated college and got ready to move up to something more challenging. -
InternBell Aquaculture Jun 2014 - Aug 2014Albany, Indiana, United StatesWhile still in high school, I moved up to the tiny town of Albany, Indiana to work as an intern in the R&D sector of Bell Aquaculture where I primarily worked with Rainbow Trout and Coho Salmon in a small scale aquaculture lab where we studied growth rates on different feeds, water qualities and lighting. While here I also helped set up and run a small feed mill (the same one I got to restore and rebuild 7 years later).
