Junior at the University of Utah David Eccles School of Business from Jackson Hole, WY studying Information Systems with an expected graduation date of December 2025. Past experiences involve extensive restaurant work as well as a short stint in sales.I am currently seeking a spring or summer 2025 internship (preferably in Utah) within the tech sector, particularly in data analytics or cybersecurity. I bring many basic, but strong Java, HTML, and Microsoft Excel skills.I came into the business school in Utah unsure of what I wanted to pursue, but after getting a chance to explore several majors, I decided that my interests in coding and technical computer work were best suited for the IS program. Throughout my childhood, I had done a lot of tinkering with computer software both in school and recreationally, and it is something I have come to enjoy doing in my college years as well.Though I practically grew up in the restaurant industry, my experiences of working in it have taught me many valuable soft work skills such as communication, hustle, a strong work ethic, and patience. Hard skills I picked up include customer service skills and sales-related skills too. In any restaurant I have worked at, I particularly stood out because of my quick learning ability which allowed me to not only find more efficient ways of completing tasks but also made me quick to adapt to sudden changes in the restaurant setting. All of these of which I'm sure would add value to any workplace I go into.I also grew up playing multiple sports (I still do), and the habits and values I formed through my extracurriculars have made me who I am today. Through these activities, I learned the importance of accountability, compassion, and grit. I commit to these values in my day-to-day life, and I commit to them even more in the workplace.
