- Lead oversea plant transfer project on process & equipment development (PBGA/QFP/QFN). - Lead production line upgrade projects, i.e. transfer low density strip matrix to ultra high density. - Establish and manage engineering staff to provide World Class Quality & Yield as well as equipment uptime.- Plans, organizes, and supervises engineering staff to support excellent operation to achieve lean manufacturing and cost effective.- Manage the engineering budget, improve financial planning and minimize expenses. - Present engineering operations metrics to top management and analyze this data to drive continuous improvement in equipment and process performance.- Schedule Equipment and process modifications, prepares cost estimates, PO specific and plan layouts. - Lead staff to design and conduct experiments throughout product manufacturing stages to characterize process windows. - Confer with cross-functional (RD/Design Center) teams to solve technical issues.- Transfer technology into new product startup and ensure high volume manufacturability.- Perform installation and qualification of new production lines.- Manage change control process and engineer training.- Utilize statistical process controls, semiconductor process controls and equipment, metrology and support equipment.- Implement error proof /RMS system to minimize quality issue and improve process control.- Develops the engineering structure to set up engineering function of process sensor/alarm/control /validate for effective process control
