Current• Provide excellent care to patients requiring specialized treatment, including trauma patients, patients requiring cardiac drips/telemetry, COVID-19 patients, stroke patients, and patients requiring complex wound care• Serve as backup coverage for telemetry monitor technician team, relief charge nurse, unit clerk, and telemetry transport nurse• Serve as Subject Matter Expert and clinical champion for Avasure patient tele-sitter monitoring, including device setup, audio/visual checks, workflow and charting development, and collaborate with Avasure team to train nurses and staff on proper use of device• Train and serve as super user for Epic charting system, supporting SDU’s transition to the Epic platform• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients• Improve tools to streamline administrative tasks like nurse scheduling, grievance reporting, and infection prevention• Revise process map for specimen collection to align with practical application and enhance efficiency• Conduct hand hygiene audits and provide coaching to individuals when not in compliance
