My current duties (both primary and back-up) include residential and commercial LNP, toll free number portability, commercial telecommunications circuit ordering and acceptance (DS1 and above), as well as ALI/911 record entry and upkeep. Aside from the above, I have in the recent past been responsible for residential telecommunications circuit ordering (xDSL loops), CNAM record entry and upkeep, RFQ pricing for commercial telecommunications circuits (both TDM and ethernet products), and the training of other Service Delivery Specialists in all of these areas. In the course of these duties, I have occasionally acted as a liaison between Socket and various ILECs (AT&T Southwest, CenturyTel, Embarq and, later, CenturyLink), as well as various IXCs (XO, Qwest, AT&T Wholesale, Level 3) and county-level PSAPs/PSCs.

Supervised between 3 and 5 Technical Support Agents on various evening and weekend shifts, served as a basic point of escalation for End User technical concerns, managed all shift contact with internal NOC and external ILEC points of escalation. Occasionally supervised an adjacent Customer Service call queue in the absence of their lead agents. I also interviewed prospective employees and participated in disciplinary meetings and terminations.

Fielded calls from residential dial-up and DSL End Users and performed basic trouble-shooting.
