Reporting to the Director of Engineering & Operations, work in close cooperation with Engineering & other WHESC employees.Primary duties include: Computer aided drafting functions, creating and updating system maps as required;Administration and operation of Automated Mapping/Facilities as assigned;Management of the Engineering Department maps, drawings and engineering data as directed;Gather and verify field data as assigned;Prepare and maintain drawings and sketches for construction plans, service layouts and distribution standards;Provide reports on map items as requested;Determine and verify distribution circuit configurations and plant locations through field checks;Review as constructed information on work documents and transfers to engineered records;Assist in the preparation and maintenance of files for tenders and easements;Data entry into various software applications.

Analyze drawings and specifications pertaining to both civil and electrical construction to create material lists and construction schedules.Organize and mobilize crews to job sites and confirm all job-specific health and safety, and security requirements are observed. Liaise between company personnel and clients, such as city officials, engineers and other construction companies and ensure best practices. Perform site inspection and review daily activities to maintain efficient work flow.Create As-Built Drawings using Adobe Acrobat and AutoCadProduce detailed AutoCad drawings for production.
