I graduated from The Ohio State University in May 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Genetics. I spent 6 years as a Research Assistant in a childhood cancer laboratory at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. I am currently an Associate Scientist II at Forge Biologics, working on life-saving gene therapies. Specialties: Research Assistant-Mammalian cell culture work, generating engineered cell lines, RNAi and retrovirus production and use, knockdown assays, cloning, and DNA/RNA/protein extraction and downstream analysis such as qRT-PCR, Western Blot, and Cut&Tag. Associate Scientist- mammalian cell culture work, ELISAs, TCID50, rcAAV, in-vitro potency assay development and qualification, GMP documentationI am passionate about addressing healthcare disparities in access to cancer and other genetic disease treatments.
