I am an Aerospace Manufacturing Engineer focusing on Mechanical System Subcomponents. Before this, I spent ten years as a Structural Steel Welder/Fabricator before taking a gamble on myself and going back to school. My past experience has put me in a unique position to assist with Design for Manufacturing & Assembly as well as Failure Mode & Effects Analysis. I am also able to help bridge the communication gap between technicians and designers and bring teams together to meet deadlines and goals. I have held Production and Tooling Debriefs with relevant stakeholders after first time production runs. These Debriefs have been used to guide future hardware development, improved production workflow, and cycle time reduction. I also have experience dual sourcing short-term solutions and long-term improvements.There is a quote that I have always felt describes this point in history. “We are the middle children of history. Born too late to explore earth, born too early to explore space” – Unknown. We may be the middle children, but I want to work towards giving future generations the opportunities that we never had.
