I’m charge of the maintenance department for North America. Trouble shoot, repair, install equipment. Troubleshoot PLC for machines specific to the industry. Fabricate fixtures and brackets to improve the production process. Order parts for inventory, Keeping track of inventory and dealing with contractors and suppliers. Deal with corrective systems with maintenance employees.

Rebuild and troubleshoot machines specific to coke and glass industry. Doing this would consist off disassembling components to recondition them for final assembly and testing. New builds would consist of welding and fabrication of frames. These machines are pneumatic, hydraulic and electric. All electric machines are 277/480 3 phase. Plc would be installed. All inventory recorded on management program. Building maintenance was also a responsibility. Electrical, plumbing and new building equipment installs for conveyors and motor drives.

Observe machine operation to detect product defects or machine malfunctionReview product for inconsistencies or abnormal appearance assuring product meets quality requirements. Make sure all housekeeping is maintained by general laborers. Machine operator for masa and besser plant. Worked weekends with maintenance for PM's and testing of safety equipment.

Essential Functions:A. Set up (assembles and disassembles), operate, adjust and clean equipment to produce seasoning products and to package these finished goods according to quality, GMP, safety and sanitation standards. Operations may include blending, compounding, and filling/packing procedures.B. Locate, prep, transfer and load materials to be processed; transfer WIP or finished product to filling operation, additional processing operations, storage or shipping area. Verify raw materials, intermediate materials, packaging materials and/or label specifications against process orders or other stated work instructions.C. Ensures all applicable process and food safety controls are effectively monitored, including but not limited to, weight control and critical control points (CCP's).D. Prepare packing materials (drums, boxes, bags, totes); and stack, palletize or stage containers for transfer.E. Where applicable, draw samples for testing per product specs. Confer with lab technicians and supervision and make adjustments to the process to bring the product within specifications.F. Complete necessary paperwork for production/lab records, food safety and inventory levels.G. Where applicable, operate lift truck to convey raw materials to production areas and operate lift truck to convey intermediate materials, finished goods and/or production refuse from production areas. Complete appropriate training for lift truck operation.H. Act as replacement for any area in the department, based on individual skills and abilities, to cover for vacancies or production demands. Complete all essential training specific to job function. Performs all other duties as assigned according to skills and abilities.
