Drive Test Engineer with AT&T RAN team.

Loaded packages at start of day checking for shipping damage and notifying appropriate personnel to remedy the situation. Reviewed the route to ensure efficient time management and made an average of 130 stops per day while following FedEx safety guidelines. Drove a 28ft FedEx Delivery van in the Brentwood area out of the Lebanon sorting facility.

I was responsible for providing call testing support to Verizon engineers as they activated the VoLTE network . My responsibilities included providing: data, call functionality, signal strength monitoring and E911 location services testing using phone based testing software. If any issues were present I provided an accurate and detailed account of the issue to the Verizon engineers running the project so it could be remedied. Most of the testing included calling E911 operators and performing data collection to verify their equipment was operating correctly. The testing area this project covered was the entire southeast portion of the USA - Texas to Florida, Virginia to Kansas. Flexibility and a willingness to stay in uncomfortable locations to be on site for each days testing was a necessary requirement many days. Contact with both the project manager and my co-workers was by phone only for the duration of the project I am very comfortable with constant travel and responsibility for navigating unfamiliar areas to execute my duties in a timely fashion.

I was responsible for providing call testing support to AT&T Engineers as they made changes to wireless network software and hardware. My responsibilities included providing: Data, Call functionality, signal strength monitoring, tower integration and E911 location services testing and support. If any issues were present I provided an accurate and detailed account of the issue to the AT&T engineers running the project so it could be remedied. My responsibilities also included managing up to four other drivers and providing them with routes and information for different projects as I acted as an interface between them and AT&T engineers. Much of my testing included calling E911 operators and performing data collection to verify their equipment was operating correctly. Projects were subject to frequent cancellation and postponement therefore I had to be extremely flexible and willing to travel to another market at a moments notice for work that evening. Many projects required me to learn new testing procedures and equipment the night I arrived in market before testing began.
