About Jesse Garn
I am a graduate of the Physical Therapy program at SUNY Upstate Medical University. Before that, I graduated from Binghamton University (May 2016) with a B.S. in Biochemistry as my undergraduate degree. During this time, I also completed a minor in Health and Wellness Studies to supplement my academic achievements. While pursuing my minor, I became a teaching assistant for "The Science and Application of Exercise", furthering my interest in a career related to health education and promoting physical activity. I also had the opportunity to promote Binghamton University by working as a tour guide for the admissions office, and posing as the mascot "Baxter the Bearcat" during multiple functions.On top of my academic work, I was a Division 1 Athlete in Cross Country and Track & Field for my entire undergraduate career, boasting success as a student-athlete. Some of these honors include: 3x NCAA All-American status, 3x America East Conference Champion, and the Binghamton Athlete of the year in 2014 and 2015.Following my undergraduate career, I was fortunate enough to pursue a professional track and field career, representing the shoe company HOKA and the NJ*NY Track Club (2016-2020). I was represented by Flynn Sports Management. During this time I competed at both the USA National level, as well as internationally in Europe.
