As systems Administrator at Molding Box Inc I take pride in Not being limited by job title. I thrive on diversity and getting my hands dirty in everything. Storage administration, backups/replication migration of company data and server instances, and when I have time I like to work in the warehouse learning our fulfillment and receiving operations. In my time at Molding Box Inc I had the privilege of bringing the company through many upgrades and improvements some of which for the first time in their history. I performed nearly a complete infrastructure overhaul over the last year replacing servers, firewall,switches,sans, and VoIP components most of which was done non-disruptively. I built the first complete Diagrams of the network in its completeness, implemented the first live network and asset monitoring in real time network wide. We were able to take a single physical server instance that has been the work horse for our proprietary software and scale it out in computing power by more than double and storage by nearly double, by performing the companies first physical to virtual conversion on a production environment. The performance gains in sql database access, data processing, and request availability from the production environment improved dramatically. Our test workload time was reduced from 5 hours to 30 minutes to process.
