My name is Jesse Herbert and I am an Assistant Principal in Middletown Township New Jersey. As an A.P. my primary responsibilities are the daily operations of our school facility with 1400+ students and 100+ certificated staff members. As an educational leader, I am in charge of helping our school to work towards its vision. As an educational leader, I have proven my ability in program development, integration of technology, data analysis, differentiated instruction, and personalized learning. In addition my experience includes mentoring and supporting teaching and learning through modeling, coaching and professional development. I have demonstrated the ability to work with multiple administrators at both the building and district level. My work in digital media has lead to the creation of multiple district videos as well as the design of a new district logo. I have knowledge of research, current practice, national/state initiatives, student outcomes and program evaluation. I have developed short and long-range plans for maintaining and improving instruction. As an Educational Technology Specialist I have demonstrated leadership skills and have expertise in curriculum, instructional strategies, best practices, child development and classroom management. I have experience writing a Title 1 plan and am knowledgeable about ESSA. In addition and have administered and facilitated the PARCC assessment.
