Advises the commander on all aspects of training, discipline, and welfare of 200-250 Soldiers, and Non-Commissioned Officers annually. Developed departmental objectives, budgets, policies, procedures, and strategies for the second largest training company in the Iowa Army National Guard. Responsible for the professional development of all enlisted personnel. Manages all administrative functions including, awards, evaluations, pay, promotions, training requirements, and daily taskings. Ensures that standards of appearance and function of assigned equipment and administrative buildings are always maintained. Recognized as the #1 Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge (NCOIC) in the nation in 2018, highlighting exemplary performance, dedication and commitment to excellence. Developed and implemented effective recruitment strategies, leveraging innovative approaches, and leveraging technology to attract and engage potential candidates. Mentored and coached a team of 8-9 recruiters, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their performance and professional growth.
