I am driven to provide human centric cardiology care in various aspects of cardiology from outpatient preventative cardiology to complex coronary interventions and chronic total occlusion management in the cath lab. My love for the field is founded in the opportunity it provides me for a lifetime of learning, community and personal development, and the chance to provide others with the best health for their lives.Background in General and Interventional CardiologyI have had the opportunity to develop the skills required to manage a broad range of pathology including acute decompensated heart failure, shock, acute coronary syndromes, to preventative cardiology, valvular heart disease and cardio-oncology among many others. I have been well trained in the catheterization lab and am on pace to graduate from my interventional year extensive experience with Impella supported PCI, rotational, orbital and laser atherectomy, management of access complications, bifurcation lesions, chronic total occlusions and exposure to structural and endovascular interventions. Approach to Patient CareLearning at four major academic institutions in both New York and Tel Aviv, I have had the opportunity to develop as a physician and learn state-of-the-art treatments and procedural techniques while gaining an understanding of the impact of cardiovascular diseases across cultures and socioeconomic conditions. Drawing from my families’ health battles, I have seen the challenges patients with cardiovascular disease face and am driven by providing humane and compassionate care which incorporates state of the art interventional and diagnostic techniques without losing site of the each individuals needs and goals at a human level. Leadership and Team Building To be an effective interventional cardiologist, one must be an exceptional team leader. As a lifelong athlete, I have always seen my role as part of a big team approach. One of the aspects I love about interventional cardiology is that it is the ultimate team sport. I thrive in an environment where I can draw on the strengths of my teammates to optimize patient care while continuing to develop skills and techniques which push the field forward. I see this field as an opportunity to be part of something bigger than myself every time a step foot in the lab.
