As an undergraduate researcher I am responsible for the development of a new ADCS test bed for CubeSats. This involves creating hardware-in-the-loop tests and the associated embedded systems in addition to the manufacturing of any test articles. Other areas of research within the CSL include carbon dioxide scrubbing solutions for manned space missions, spacecraft ADCS (docking and rendezvous simulation), Mars descent and landing profiles, and CubSat payload development.

The payload of Invictus 1 was a static charge logger that recorded the atmospheric charge induced in the rocket due to weather conditions. In our inaugural year our team placed fourth at the Spaceport America Cup.

PresidentIowa State University Speedbike Sep 2014 - May 2019Our team aims to build the world's fastest bicycle (the current record is 89.59 miles per hour) to compete in the Human Powered Vehicle Challenge. The design constraints for our project required us to fabricate and test a "homemade" fork. The gearing ratio for the bicycle was researched and developed to provide the rider with the largest gear range.
