Managing and contributing to the Financial Foundry team, which is responsible for tracking, analyzing, and controlling the financial ecosystem on the Eventbrite platform.

Building scalable infrastructure for our payments, billing, and auditing systems.

Responsible for writing and maintaining the transaction communication server handling messages between POS and Client devices. The transaction flow as well as critical transaction decisions are handled by this server. Mostly C++ and MongoDB with an emphasis on TCP sockets, multithreading, redundancy, and scalability.Integration with various third party payment processing APIs including AMEX, Mastercard, Vantiv, IPCommerce, Adyen, Payvision, Webpay, Lanpass, Transbank, Transbank OneClick, Payliance, BCI, Authorize.net, Stripe, and TotalApps. C++, Ruby, Python, and PHP. A lot of TCP / HTTPS work as well as the use of SOAP and the iso8583 message format.
