A platform to connect young artists with opportunities. We provide these opportunities by hosting events such as the Journey Dance Awards, Networking Events, and Dance Classes. Since launching in the midst of the COVID-19 Pandemic we have been able to...Produce three Choreography Showcases for Young Choreographers (Journey Dance Awards) in New York City and Southern California. - provided over 50 young choreographers with a platform to present choreography and receive personal feedback from industry professionals- sold over 750 audience tickets (including a sold out show in New York City)- hosted over 300 dancers to perform- created and sold commortative merchandise Hosted In-Person Conventions (Journey Dance Convention)- produced entire day of convention including venue rental, teachers, merchandise, videographer, photographer, etc.- provided over 5 hours of classes to 50 students at Journey Dance ConventionHosted Multiple Virtual Dance Conventions- welcomed over 100 dancers internationally- raised money to sponsor 10 dancers to train for free- created and managed team over over 20 individuals for the events- sold merchandise
