I've been in the substance abuse field for 7 years, where I have explored every level of care imaginable from intensive outpatient, outpatient, residential care, medically assisted treatment, medically assisted detoxification and inpatient psychiatric care. Motivational interviewing, client centered approach, trauma informed care are the the foundation of my practice but the ability to adapt to my clients counseling style is my responsibility and greatest asset. Everyone requires a unique approach that will create a strong therapeutic relationship. My passion for substance abuse treatment and serving this community comes from my own personal journey in recovery, and seeing people thrive in a new way of living. I am also passionate about justice system reform and making life easier for felons after serving their debt to society.
