I am responsible for auditing member applications, branch cash, and inventory to ensure that all credit union services, functions and activities comply with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements and are prepared to fully satisfy all internal control standards. I compile and analyze data to prepare and execute the annual budget. I am responsible for the security and balancing of on-hand cash which averages $700,000 - $1,000,000 daily. I oversee and approve bi-weekly payroll and employee time and attendance records. I conduct staff meetings to disseminate pertinent information, discuss operational methods, and introduce new goals to increase productivity, promote team building and boost employee morale. I facilitate One-on-One staff meetings to delegate authority, increase responsibilities, promote involvement, and provide training to each employee in efforts to strategically coach and guide their career growth. Annually, I review each employee and perform Employee Performance Appraisals.
