• Improved unit test coverage by mapping out a transition from an MVC architecture to MVVM. This decoupled business logic from the view controllers and allowed tests to be written more easily.
• Increased the number of crash-free sessions from ~80% to over 99% by refactoring networking callbacks and used Instruments to identify and eliminate retain cycles.
• Implemented load shipment tracking functionality that provided location updates from the app while it was in a background or suspended state, while at the same time pre- serving user privacy to only send location.
