• Install and maintains pneumatic and electronic Process Control Instruments. • Analyzes and resolves electrical problems, troubleshooting and continuous improvement on PLC programming, HMI/SCADA Systems and computer network communications. • Traces and corrects control loop malfunctions, and provides assistance to maintenance and production teams concerning instrument systems. • Repairs, calibrates and cleans all instruments, pressure switches, flow tubes and gauges to ensure minimal downtime and efficient utilization of pneumatic and electronic equipment. • Provides direction to plant electricians, automation technicians and mechanics as needed to complete repairs. • Recommends component changes or replacement devices for more efficient and accurate process measurement and control. • Makes simple programming changes and troubleshoots Programmable Logic Controllers.
