I had graduated from Economics/Marketing with a minor in Asian Politics from the Swinburne University of Technology (est.1908) from Melbourne, Australia in 1991.I had worked as money-broker with Pedder Martin & with Astley & Pearce from 1985-87 / 1991-92, respectively. After that period, I had gone from jobs like FOREX Dealer, Financial Consultant @ OCBC/UOB Bank, Property-related Business Development Manager, Independent Financial Adviser to Relationship cum Front/Family Office Manager in HLBank's Wealth Management Department. I was tasked to nurture deeper relationships with HNWi clients with various exposed positions into investments.My last duties in HLBank's (Wealth) Private Banking lasted 4 years which had included SOP manuals on banking & non-banking functions. I had acted as first level contact point to Front Office for Operations-related escalations and issues (with mainly internal client, support model included external clients as well.) I had dealt with numerous pillars with some of the wealthy family's business relating to customized investment products and other non-banking activity. My duties are to establish and maintain relationship with stakeholders (Front Office, Back Office and Shared Services) to work towards common objectives; often analyze each request and feedback to ensure that all issues and queries are handled professionally. I provided interfaced with service providers and the Front Office to allow rapport “walk the floors” within the various PBRMs to develop demand changes for updated process. Assisted in generating stratified fee-income with clients, within industry rule and standard, I was tasked in communication with various HOD colleagues within departments to seek out problems so as to align operation challenges stemming from market changed demands. I also conduct regular updates to inform colleagues for their stakeholders’ enhanced confidence support.
