A Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 25 years of project services experience in commercial, contracting, and procurement. I have worked across various industries, ranging from the process industry (oil & gas) to high-tech manufacturing, commercial building, and infrastructure major capital projects across Southeast Asia and South Asia.I am a vibrant team player, working closely with finance, legal, engineering, operations, project teams, and external service providers. This includes collaboration with various internal business units and external vendors.I hold professional membership in both the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and the Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers (MSISV). My educational background includes a degree in Construction Management and qualifications in Quantity Surveying and Business Management. I have attended the Executive Leadership Programme at INSEAD Singapore and a Masterclass Programme in Procurement Strategies from the Singapore Institute of Purchasing and Material Management.In terms of career achievements, I spent 14 years with Faithful & Gould, a UK-based Cost Consultant. During my tenure, I managed one of their major account clients, MSD and Schering Plough. I represented the client on their major capital projects, overseeing the construction of process and high-tech manufacturing facilities in Singapore (Tuas West and South facilities) and Indonesia (Surabaya), including their regional R&D Centre of Excellence. My primary role involved project cost control and various project management support for both green and brownfield projects.Being Director of Procurement for Facilities Management & Services and Development at Marina Bay Sands for 5 years, I was responsible for the procurement categories related to the entire property's facilities and maintenance services, including CAPEX project development. I collaborate with various business units at MBS and their respective stakeholders, focusing on facility management and services, CAPEX project development, A&A works, operations, IT DC upgrading, sustainability, automation, and professional services.I currently serve as part of the Infraco Asia Development Management team, contributing to contractual and procurement oversight for IAD infrastructure projects. These projects span power & energy, telecommunications, logistics & transport infrastructure, water & wastewater, agriculture, manufacturing, and urban & social sectors across Southeast Asia and South Asia. These projects are funded by entities such as the EU, UK, Australia, and IFC.
