I helped consult small businesses in payroll, insurance, compliance and tax needs in order to ensure business growth, improvement of cashflow and stability in employment throughout Queens, NY, by primarily partnering with accountants, banks and insurance brokers.

Bartending at a very well established bar in the downtown Binghamton area primarily aimed at serving the Binghamton University students. Would regularly serve hundreds of students every weekend as well as helping run activities to help create business on weekdays.

Responsible for creating a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests. Greeted members, prospective members and guests. Responded to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner and assisted the Assistant Manager or Manager as needed. Handled all front desk related activities including; answering phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with a variety of questions, checking members into the system, new member sign-up, taking prospective members on tours, facilitating needed updates to member’s accounts, assisting in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the club, cleaning and sanitizing of all exercise equipment and Black Card spa amenities, ensuring restrooms are clean and sanitized, stocked and clutter free by following the routine cleaning schedule, performing a comprehensive walk of all club areas; quickly fix any safety/policy issues and address cleanliness concerns, continual standing and walking during shift, lifted up to 150 lbs in order to organize free weights.

Led small-group meetings of new students through a variety of programmatic and transitional topics. Served as a peer academic mentor and supported new students with the course registration process. Responsible for the care and treatment of the animals along with the general retail responsibilities such as inventory tracking system to record deliveries, shipments and stock levels. Evaluated deliveries, shipments and product levels to improve inventory control procedures. Analyzed daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages.

I helped research the effect of purple marsh crabs (sesarma reticulatum) on Cordgrass (spartinna alterniflora) and the erosion of estuaries in New York City through a program sponsored by Fordham University and The Bronx Zoo. Physically went wading through five swamps of New York City to collect data of the ecosystem of the estuary such as the avain species spotted with equipment, water quality, notation of pollution and water level coinciding with natural weather patterns and of course counting the purple marsh crabs found in the biome.
