I manage the team that creates and innovates current digital and print product lines in Skilled trades for CDX Learning Systems and Ugly's Electrical References. CDX provides complete training solutions for the HVACR, Transportation and Heavy Equipment industries, as well as other skilled trades training markets. We use a consultative approach to assist with sound instructional design and content delivery in a simple and effective manner. Our goal is to help provide the training for successful skilled trades workers. Ugly's Electrical References meets the needs of many professionals in the electrical trades. The well known Electrical References guide and mobile app are accompanied by many other useful reference guides aimed at NFPA 70E, Conduit bending, Motors and Controls, and Residential Wiring. I work pragmatically to gather market data that informs development decisions for high impact and valuable features and solutions to these markets. My team is responsible for the product and feature evolution from idea to live launch to customers. Iterating as we go, we work with SME's (subject matter experts) and developers to design content that meets market needs as well as dis-aggregate into reusable and digestible components that enables flexibility. We work with the sales team, animators, video production team, developers (both in house and out), finance, and authors to create the solutions trainers/educators want.

Work with education and training providers to tailor solution that better meet learners needs in the skilled trades market. Responsible for a large area of the US and global sales effort, I worked with the sales team as a player coach and mentor. Territory management was priority as well as working cross-functionally with development teams and subject matter experts to build out requirements for successful features. Achievements include single territory multi-year double digit percentage growth globally, as well as a 173% increase in one year. Helped to coach the rest of the team and assist with large accounts across the globe to achieve 4 years of 15% - 40% company growth per year. Multiple awards for achievement of goals and successful product launches.

- Angel/BlackBoard Certified- Instructional DesignWorked as an Automotive Instructor, teaching most all NATEF A1-A8. I also helped with the development and implementation of curricula, both for traditional classes and online web based learning. Worked as a department instructional designer to develop and implement the first fully online automotive courses delivered through the schools chosen Learning Management system. I also developed many self paced automotive related learning modules that were proven effective at increasing learner engagement as well as student success measures. Created and maintained relationships with local employers to participate in the advisory board and place successful students into available positions. Took charge to gain donations of vehicles and parts from local shops and manufacturers increasing the available fleet of modern vehicles and stock of much needed supplies for learners to practice their hands on skills.Working as a lab assistant, I also oversaw the shop/building organization, tool inventory, and coordinated most activities within the building. I also supervised the Student Worker positions. I managed a fleet of 140 to include maintenance and repair as well as bug set ups for diagnostic labs.
