I was contacted by a previous manager and asked if I would like to be the shop manager for a company that was setting up a new location. I oversaw the entire set up of the facility, hired all the staff and even welded the first pressure vessel entirely by hand while waiting on all the equipment to arrive. As the shop manager of Dynacorp, I was reposnible for all shop employees and 3rd party services. - Day-to-day planning of all staff including Pressure welders, Vessel fitters, Pipe welders, Pipefitters, Assembly crews, Structural welders and Warehouse. Was fortunate to learn from some the industries most highly skilled professionals on the Natco Heater Treater Designs. Was apart of a hand selected elite crew to travel to Malaysia to assist and audit the manufacturing process at this facility. While there, our team drastically improved the efficiency of the facility and 3rd party services. Some of my personal accomplishments were working beside the sub surface SVP and personally taking on improvements to a specific project. While on this project, I selected my own team and started up a specific welding shop to streamline production.
