I am a System Safety/ Aircraft Certification Engineer and Consulting DER. I possess experience in aircraft and systems level safety certification processes for Part 23/25 aircraft. This includes application of FAA guidance and the tools/methods contained in SAE ARP4761 and ARP4754A. I have experience in utilizing system safety tools such as FMEAs, Fault Trees (Using FaultTree+ , Windchill/Relex), Functional Hazard Assessments, Preliminary System Safety Assessments, System Safety Assessments and Common Cause Analysis (Particular Risk Assessments, Common Mode Analysis and Zonal Safety Assessments) to show compliance to 14 CFR 23/25.1309, 23.2510 and other applicable safety related regulations. As the lead system safety point of contact on numerous new aircraft programs, I have demonstrated project management skills with the ability to manage resources and work with both internal and external customers.
