CurrentI am fortunate enough to co-lead KPMG’s Deal Advisory team, with primary responsibility for Wellington and Christchurch, as well as our Infrastructure, Assets and Places group.Our Deal Advisory team is a fantastic, fun and tight-knit group of about 30 in Wellington, 10 in Christchurch and ~115 nationally. Our team specialises in commercial and financial advice, financial modelling, data analytics, business cases, debt advisory as well as M&A, valuations and due diligence. We have a particular strength in the infrastructure and housing sectors and are known for bridging the space between commercial / financial advice and government policy advice. We have a well established debt advisory team and have won the INFINZ Debt Deal of the Year three times since 2018. Some of our most recent mandates include;- lead commercial advisor to Crown Infrastructure Partners including closing the first IFF transaction - M&A advisor on all of NZs secondary PPP sales to date - lead commercial advisor on a range of social housing projects- financial advisor to several local authorities on infrastructure and housing- lead advisor on several crown funding processes including Shovel Ready and the Infra Acceleration Fund with Kainga Ora - financial advisor on number of PPP financings and refinancings- range of debt advisory roles, including refinancings, funding option and credit analysis assessments.
