As a TDS I was responsible for providing support services and managing a caseload of Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act Youth customers. The WIOA Youth program offers comprehensive support services to youth who are facing barriers in their career development process.I supported my customers through the career exploration and development processes with online tools, informational interviews, and work experience. I provided resources and referrals to community organizations, upskilling resources, and workshops. I guided my customers in the development of a training plan to set them on a path to career success. I supported my customers through their training and job search process with resume review, interview preparation, and job search skills. Other program services that I provided to my customers were career and personality assessments, barrier identification, and professional networking.
