The Director of Urban Planning & Land Use is responsible for overseeing the execution of all activities and functions within the Transportation & Planning program. This includes facilitating participatory urban planning, designing community engagement frameworks, strategizing campaigns, building coalitions, and leading teams; directing activities and functions in Transportation & Planning department or cross-program areas, including working with Program Managers to develop, implement and evaluate program delivery, procedures and standards; monitoring program budgets; interpreting and complying with all applicable regulations; identifying and developing funding opportunities; providing specialist advice and supervision to clerical, technical or professional staff, the public and other agencies.
