As a former collegiate athlete and director of community-focused initiatives, I am driven by team collaboration, leading by example, and helping others find solutions to their challenges. As a former Senior Site Director of the YMCA Silicon Valley, I supervised 15 staff members and assisted underprivileged families afford and attend after-school care. As a manager, I work hard to develop and grow my staff by mentoring, and training. As a collegiate athlete for two years, I competed on a team and worked towards a common goal of continuing to increase our level of performance and development as a team. In my current job, I bring what I learned on the field– perseverance, teamwork, and constructive criticism to continue to strive to always improve in my role. As an aspiring BDR, I hope to bring my leadership and team mentality to the tech industry to advance my future company and colleagues. I believe my strong interpersonal and time management skills will help me be a highly successful BDR. Both professionally and athletically, I have been able to manage, collaborate, and lead which has put me in a position today to excel in a fast paced sales position at a tech company.
