Led interdisciplinary teams to develop management plans for open space properties in Boulder County. Managed the development of a cropland management policy for the Department's agricultural properties. Responsible for small short-term planning and resource assessment projects with relation to recreational amenity development on County property.

Directed planning and outreach efforts for the District Parks and Recreation Department in half of the City. Managed a special series of planning projects with a budget of $4.5 million. Managed the GIS effort for the Department. Worked on numerous interagency efforts to better manage open space owned by different government agencies. Reviewed development plans and worked closely with the community to manage planning efforts.

Managed a staff of three and reported directly to the Director of the Department of Parks and Recreation. Responsible for assigning projects and ensuring results in a timely manner on planning, design, and construction projects.

Managed the master planning of a number of park sites throughout Fairfax County. Review land development projects and amendments to the Comprehensive Plan. Assist the branch manager by responding to constituent questions. Conduct public meetings in connection with the park master planning process.

Assisted both the Department Administrator and the Department Assistant with day-to-day tasks. Also managed and updated recruitment files for applicants to the Microbiology Department Doctoral program.

Carried out visitor survey for two urban parks within the Jefferson County Park System. After completing the surveys, entered all data into a database and began basic analysis. Results will be presented as a part of the regular review and analysis of park use and management. Helped the report's authors design more exacting tools for analysis.

Worked in close association with the Director for Major Gifts and the Vice President for Development. Major duties included maintaining donor database and organizing mass mailings. Job also entailed organizing and keeping track of schedules.

Provided general support to the development department of American Forests. Duties included, researching and drafting grant proposals, preparing mailings, and coordinating crossover between marketing and development departments.
