My primary role with GPI, the manufacturer of a vegan meat alternative called Gardein, was the creation and management of a $12.5 million portfolio of clients across Canada, the USA and the UK, while simultaneously developing new relationships with clients throughout Europe, Australia and Asia. I joined the company in 2006 when our annual sales were $6million. By the time of my departure we had grown our annual sales to $21 million, diversified our major client base to include many of North America’s premier manufacturers and retailers, sold over $1million in product to a new partner in the UK, and attracted investment from a large American VC partner. Day to day activities included: the fostering and management of relationships with current customers , finding and developing relationships with new clients (full sales cycle: initial contact, product presentation, custom product/packaging development, project timeline development, execution, forecasting), new product/packaging innovation, forecasting and website development.

Created, coordinated, implemented and sold high profile promotional investment guides for international markets. Working with the business leaders of Dubai, UAE, I created a 150 page print revue of investment opportunities for Paris, France’s business elite. Recognized internally as top sales performer with over $900,000 CDN sold during Dubai green-field project, I was asked to open Asia Pacific market through Hong Kong. Working alongside Hong Kong’s decision makers I created the storyboard for a half hour investment revue for the 22 million Fox 5 New York television viewers. Primary responsibilities included development of project strategy, sales of advertising spots, collection of objective material, coordination of distribution and content writing.
