Responsible for oversight of office-wide fundraising and community engagement efforts, including developing major donor, institutional and public fundraising strategies, inclusive of pre- and post-award proposal development, funder stewardship, and prospecting. Leads resource development, including maintaining robust volunteer an in-kind operations; communications and media relations; and event planning. Provides strategic leadership to office-wide initiatives. Year over year, meets annual $1.5M private fundraising goals, supports compliance for $8M+ public funds, raises $400k+ in-kind goods and engages 500+ volunteers.

Greater Salt Lake City Area

Responsible for oversight of office-wide fundraising efforts, developing and maintaining strategic relationships with external partners, public relations, donor stewardship and cultivation and the management of volunteer and in-kind donation programs for the International Rescue Committee in Salt Lake City. Oversees and manages donor relations, donor tracking and reporting, fundraising, special events, public relations and outreach. Direct supervision of the Volunteer Coordinator, Development Specialist, AmeriCorps positions and several unpaid interns. During the federal Fiscal Year 2018, supported development efforts to raise over $500,000 in private and unrestricted funding and nearly $300,000 worth of in-kind contributions for programming and direct beneficiary support.

Responsible for the organization and oversight of the day-to-day operations of the monetary and in-kind donations systems, all in-kind donation activities related to federal grant requirements, and assisting and overseeing additional resource development efforts including communications, tracking and reporting on monetary donations and grant awards, strategic planning and special events. Communications include general oversight of social media strategy and efforts as well as mass e-communication to supporters. Collection and distribution of in-kind donations to recently arrived refugees in the Salt Lake valley. Must attain the match for the matching grant funding from the Office of Refugee Resettlement. Organize major donation events, including annual coat and holiday gift drives. Manage social media and create newsletter and web content.
