I also provided technical oversight for the design, analysis, and testing of a new spent fuel shipping container railcar and a new security escort railcar for shipments of high-level radioactive material.

As lead engineer for the Spent Fuel Disposal Project of the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program, I was the coordinator for dry storage facilities for spent navy nuclear fuel. These duties included equipment procurement, review and revision of nuclear safety reports, development of risk mitigation plans, and providing urgent technical support for ongoing spent fuel handling operations.
