Worked in the metrology lab using 3D scanning to measure, inspect, and report dimensional's for parts and gages. Scanned primarily plastic injection molded parts (created internally), but also supplier parts as well that consisted of many different material types. Worked on projects in early development through PPAP. Introduced 3D scanning in many different avenues within the company to help save cost and increase quality.

Traveled around USA & Canada using ATOS & TRITOP products by GOM. Provided live demonstrations scanning and inspecting parts for potential customers. Scanned and inspected everything from small medical devices up to aircraft components and entire vehicles. Completed service work providing dimensional reports to customers. Performed installation and advanced training sessions on site at customer locations nationwide (and Canada).

Worked in AutoCAD creating construction details as well as space planning for commercial & high-end residential homes. Typically worked on homes larger than 6,000 sqft with instances where homes reached over 30,000 sqft. Completed site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, full details, schedules, etc. Worked on projects from early conceptual stage all the way through construction.

Measured buildings using leica disto laser equipment and AutoCAD. Would provide CAD file of entire as-built condition of building measured down to the 1/4". Building sizes ranged from 2000 sqft residential homes all the way up to an entire 22 story building in downtown Detroit (Fort Shelby Hotel). Also worked on construction documents building floor plans, elevations, sections, details for new construction. Primarily worked in the midwest region of the US.
