I work as part of the Customer Service team in a specialized role involving accessorials, and also am the sole employee responsible for reporting and resolving any OS&D issues that occur.I am responsible for checking and requesting detention and lumper reimbursements that occurs on any of our loads, about 125 loads per day. When approved, I add the charges on our invoice to bill our customers, generating additional income for the company. This job requires rapid accurate data entry and attention to detail - of which my skills in both allows me to be successful in this position. I utilize multiple websites and email to request accessorial charges, depending on the customer needs.After working at LTI I was also offered the additional responsibility of reporting and resolving OS&D issues. This involves verifying the details of the OS&D, reporting this to the customer and working with them for a resolution. I enjoy the rapid response and critical thinking required for this position, as it allows me to directly help reduce driver downtime and reduce our company's claim risk exposure in a visible way.
