Environmental Vacation Student

My main project as the Environmental Vacation Student was to create a Stormwater Management Plan for the Birkenhead site, which included a stormwater audit and harvesting proposal. The cost effective concept and design of pollution control structures for stormwater run-off within the site was also one of my projects. I was responsible for a weekly stack report to the EPA. I also kept the environmental website updated and attended a quarterly community meeting. Adelaide Brighton Cement is looking to expand their wetland area, in which I was included in the consultation and design. Throughout my time at Adelaide Brighton I researched and reported on previous and proposed environmental projects, giving a presentation at the end of my stay.
