Personally managing a department of six individuals, including four skilled drivers and two office staff, I ensured the smooth operation of our logistical endeavors, from overseeing the movement of propane tanks nationwide to meticulously managing our department's P&L.A highlight of my time with Hilitz that speaks to my ability to innovate and execute logistics in tank relocation was planning a removal that involved a particularly challenging access point. I developed a plan to cut a ramp down the side of an embankment which allowed us to access the area with heavy equipment. I also secured a much smaller and less expensive crane to complete the project, saving over $80K. In this role, I also procured and kept all fleet equipment, recognizing the crucial role it played in our business's success.
