Working alongside a youth steering committee, the Youth Engagement Strategy will identify community priorities for youth age 14-29, and the ways that the City of Hamilton can improve the level of engagement for this demographic. From listening to the youth in the community, a youth dedicated Instagram Channel has been created to communicate with youth and promote initiatives to help better inform the community of the services here to support youth. Another piece to this role is managing a large network of almost 500 community stakeholders with an interest in youth services. Through this network, we connect youth to services, share important updates happening in the community, and help create partnerships for new services to support youth.
