Support Fortune 100 Customers through providing best in class consulting and expertise on all things Checkpoint. As a Diamond Services Engineer we serve as an extension of our customers own IT team. We learn our customers environment, work with stakeholders and engineers on-site, hold weekly calls and create a partnership between Check Point and its most valuable customers. We solve the most difficult challenges, answer the questions that have never been asked before, and build and maintain strong relationships with the customers security staff. As customers utilize there Diamond Days we are on-site and work side by side resolving issues, upgrading infrastructure, deploy global systems, conduct training, and serve as a resource that can quickly react to changing conditions and when necessary can escalate product concerns directly to the development teams. We maintain high levels of hands on and practical expertise in all of Check Points products and services. We work with Research and Development as well as other internal Check Point teams identifying bugs, documenting change requests, and obtaining and testing hotfixes. I worked onsite during a major network refresh at AIG. During this period we setup and copied configurations from old equipment and imported this into the new infrastructure. Troubleshooting fiber and copper wiring was another accent of this opportunity. Lastly, we installed multiple Cisco Telepresences within Universities as well as AIG and multiple bank locations.

Capital One network refreshManaged the Shipping Phase of a 20 million dollar project which included 2 million dollars worth of Cisco Equipment. Continuously documented, staged, and tracked over 3400 individual items including 3825 routers, 3560 switches, rack and floor ups’s, 5000 7961/7962 Cisco IP phones, SNMP cards, Lantronix, and Lantronix cards. Added users and modified existing users in Cisco Unified Communications Manager (Call Manager 6.1) as we as built voicemails in Nortel Call Pilot 5. Created/ Maintained/ Utilized a detail test plan that was modified to better suit the projects needs. Shipped out a total of 371 sites and provided phone support during cutovers.
